Barack Obama marched ahead to a 13 point lead over Hillary Clinton in the Oregon primary election according to the latest poll conducted over the weekend. Obama and Clinton evenly split the women vote. However, with the majority of Oregon men siding with the Illinois Senator, Obama is favored to win the Beaver State.

Oregon uses a drop-off or mail-in ballot voting system. 29% of registered voters have already cast their ballot as of May 15.

In Kentucky, polling shows Hillary Clinton ahead, holding a substantial 31 point margin. Barack Obama is avoiding the Bluegrass State, leaving Clinton alone to campaign without his presence. The final election day results for both Oregon and Kentucky will be Tuesday May 20, 2008.
