-End of DNC StatementAlthough the majority of media outlets have declared Barack Obama the presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee, the DNC falls short in making that claim. I contacted the DNC to clarify why it would be necessary for undeclared superdelegates to have to come forth and publicly commit to a candidate when Barack Obama has already secured enough support for the Party nod. I was unable to obtain an answer from the DNC headquarters. Related Links:DNC: A Statement by Democratic Leaders on the End of the Presidential Primary ProcessTrackback(0)

It doesn't seem like Hillary Clinton has that much pull with the DNC.
Supposedly Barack Obama has enough delegates to put him over the threshold to be the party's nominee. The DNC forcing undeclared supers to take a side seems more divisive than unifying. It is unnecessary at this point to make the people who have to continue to work with both Clinton and Obama to admit publicly who they prefer. Write comment
