Sunday Morning Mashup of CBS FACE THE NATION:
BOB CASEY
April 20, 2008
Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey says that his endorsee, Barack Obama is 'lifting the debate' this election cycle.
"All of these voters that are going to vote on April 22nd can see through a lot of these back and forth exchanges. They want to hear about how these candidates are going to address their lives, their jobs, and this terrible economy and there's been a lot of fighting back and forth. But if this is going to become a contest of who's, you know, which campaign has, has engaged in smear tactics, I think Senator Obama will do well on the positive side of that. I think he has lifted the debate. There are lots of times in this campaign where he could have attacked and finger pointed and he didn't. He lifted the campaign and I think that shows his leadership skills."

Sunday Morning Mashup of FOX NEWS SUNDAY:
KARL ROVE
April 20, 2008
Republican stategist, Karl Rove, gives campaign advice to Barack Obama.
"I think it would work more effectively if he were not himself reflective of the old Washington politics. We've seen him go after both Senator McCain and Senator Clinton in ways that even the media have come to say was fundamentally unfair. I think if you step back for a minute, the narrative what that's happened over the last four months, since his win in Iowa to today is that he's become more of an ordinary politician, more of an ordinary Washington politician, a member of the United States Senate, not this aspirational and inspiring figure that he was during that period in November to December to January."

Sunday Morning Mashup of ABC THIS WEEK:
JOHN MCCAIN
April 20, 2008
Republican presidential nominee John McCain says that both Obama and Clinton are out of touch with the American people.
"Well, I have an economic plan. It's good. It's strong. Things have gotten worse in the last several months, as we all know, in our economy. Americans are struggling. American families are sitting around the kitchen table today trying to figure out how they're gonna keep their home, keep their job. Times are very, very tough, and the worst thing you can do, the worst thing you can do is raise taxes. Both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama want to raise taxes, that's out of touch."
