Sunday Morning Mashup of ABC THIS WEEK:
Sheila Jackson Lee
April 27, 2008
Texas Representative, Sheila Jackson Lee reminds us of those who have not yet spoken.
"What the American people, the Democratic voters, have said, is "We want to vote. We want to vote in Kentucky. We want to vote in Puerto Rico. We want to vote in West Virginia." And so, this is not a campaign of pundits, this is not a campaign of polling people. It's a campaigning of the people and the people have said that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is still in this race; we want to have the opportunity to vote on both of these candidates. And Democrats need to say that we have a bounty of riches, we're celebrating it, and allowing the people to vote. I want the people to vote and make this decision."

TOM DASCHLE
April 27, 2008
Former Senate Leader and Barack Obama Supporter, Tom Daschle finds something that his candidate, Hillary Clinton, and Howard Dean agree on.
"But even Hillary's people have said, 'It's the delegates that matter.' Terry McAuliffe, on several occasions, has said, It's the delegates that count. It's the delegates who are sent to the convention, the delegates who vote, it ought to be the delegates, ultimately, who decide who the nominee is going to be."

Sunday Morning Mashup of ABC THIS WEEK:
EVAN BAYH
April 27, 2008
Indiana Senator Evan Bayh, advocates for Hillary Clinton on roundtable of Congressional surrogates. Bayh argues that Barack Obama is more susceptible to Republican attacks.
"The trouble that Barack has, and I think he rightfully said he didn't choose his words very well, and I don't think those represent his true sentiments, but it does make him a little more vulnerable as a new person to the national scene, where there's a lot more canvas there for the Republicans to paint on, it makes him more vulnerable to them perpetrating a caricature. He's not this way, but they are more able to characterize him as being a part of the elite that exists in some quarters in the Democratic party. So, it's not true, but he's vulnerable to that because he's new."

Sunday Morning Mashup of NBC MEET THE PRESS:
HOWARD DEAN
April 27, 2008
DNC Chairman, Howard Dean sat down with Tim Russert to discuss the current situation of the Democratic nomination process between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
"Now we happen to have an African American candidate and a woman candidate, and clearly those groups of folks, who have historically been disenfranchised in our political process, have their favorites because there's an emotional pull towards those candidacies. At the end of the day, we have to bring that together, and as I said at the opening of the show, the most important person to bring those folks together is the person who doesn't win."
